Insurance Plans 2016-17
The Board paid health insurance benefit is set annually by the District’s Board of Education. Health insurance is provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield. The District is currently paying 100% of the employee’s base plan monthly premium. If employees do not participate in the Wellness Biometric Screening and complete the HRA (Health Risk Assessment), they will contribute $20.00 per month toward their health insurance, starting with the November 10, 2016 paycheck. Retail Telehealth Benefits
Schedule and "see" a doctor online from your phone, tablet or computer, from home, the office or while traveling using the Amwell mobile app.
Dental Insurance provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City. The employee pays the entire monthly premium.
Vision Insurance provided by VSP. The employee pays the entire monthly premium.
Group Term Life Insurance
Group Term Life Insurance is available. The employee pays the entire monthly premium.
Aflac offers a wide range of additional insurance coverage. The District has the capability to payroll deduct your premiums. Open enrollment for Aflac is every September with the plan year beginning October 1st.
