Membership:
Membership dues for an individual are $5. A portion of the dues goes to State and National PTA membership, and the rest helps to support Barry's PTA.
PTA has supported the students and teachers at Barry by funding assemblies, field trips, an AccuCut machine and die cuts, playground equipment, trophy cases, playground benches, digital camera, printer, refrigerator, Accelerated Reader program, popcorn machine, portable P.A. machine, field day gifts for students, and a new laminator.
For some inexpensive advertising for your company and to support the Barry PTA, businesses may purchase a PTA Corporate Sponsor membership for $20. Your company logo or business card will then appear in the PTA Telephone Directory and the PTA Newsletter.

Events:
PTA sponsors many events for the Barry School students in kindergarten through fifth grade and their families. The following are the PTA planned events for the 2008-2009 school year:
