The R-3 community will be "rockin'" again this school year....rockin' with character. The PIRATES R.O.C.K. character program will begin its third year focusing on character.... something the entire country and educational community is looking to help support academic success as well as developing life-long adult skills. PIRATES R.O.C.K. (Raising Outstanding Character Kids) is a program designed to surround our families with examples of strong character traits through school experiences, at home, and reinforced in their faith and business community.

MEET PC the PARROT
Our newest member of the Pirates R.O.C.K. community and the mascot for the character program!! PC is available to visit your community groups, scout activities or organizations to help promote positive character traits. TheJuly character trait is Honesty....a willingness to say openly what is true.... How will YOU exhibit this trait for your family, your students, or your neighbors?

Please let us know what kinds of activities you participate in so we can share with others. Businesses and parents are encouraged to sign up as partners.....it's FREE! Send an email to zubeckt@pcriii.k12.mo.us and you will be signed up to receive a monthly newsletter updating that month's activities as well as the logo to use on newsletters, promotionals, etc. Families and businesses are also encouraged to show their PRIDE by purchasing yard signs, flags or banners.
