Academics

Platte County High School offers a variety of courses to satisfy both graduation requirements and student interests and needs. Beyond providing a strong foundation in the core subject areas of English, mathematics, science, and social studies, we offer many different electives in the areas of foreign language, art, music, family and consumer sciences, industrial technology, physical education, speech, theatre, journalism, business, and marketing. We try to meet the needs of student abilities by offering regular classes, special education courses, challenge courses, and courses that will earn students college credit while in high school (AP and Dual Credit). With the Northland Career Center located on our campus, a variety of vocational programs are available. We also offer alternative educational programs. For more information, use the links below:
