Mr. Chris Miller-Principal
Chris Miller comes to Platte City from the Harrisonville School District. While at
Harrisonville, Chris served as the middle school assistant principal and the varsity soccer
coach for the past four years. Prior to working in Harrisonville, Chris was employed by
the Ozark School District. Chris taught Physical Education at the upper elementary for
two years, the junior high for one year, and coached the boy's and girl's varsity soccer
teams, at the high school level, for three years.
Chris graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education
(1998) and a Masters of Science in Educational Administration (2002). Chris currently is
working on his Specialist degree at Central Missouri State University. Chris married his college sweetheart, Heather, in 1999. They have one child, a young boy named Zane Michael Miller.

Mr. Logan Lightfoot- Assistant Principal
Logan Lightfoot started his career in education in Savannah, Missouri. While in Savannah, he taught high school literature and composition and coached boy’s and girl’s varsity soccer. After teaching in Savannah, he moved to Platte City to teach Read 180.
Logan graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with his Bachelor of Science in English Education. Soon after, he finished his Masters of Science in Educational Leadership. He completed his Specialist in Education degree from Saint Louis University. He is currently finishing his Executive Doctorate of Education through Saint Louis University as well. Logan’s better half, Leanna, is a first grade teacher at Siegrist Elementary School. They currently have two puppies, Gulliver and Paddington.
