The Platte City Middle School Library can hold 116 students for instructional and reading purposes. We can easily accommodate three classrooms of students at one given time. There are 16 computer stations which have access to online resources using MOREnet, the library catalog, the Internet and educational programs. The Library has 5,500 square feet which does not include the Librarian’s office, library workroom, AV storage or Professional Library which are connected to the Library.         

The PCMS Library has a huge collection of fiction, nonfiction, and reference books. We subscribe to local and city-wide newspapers and many magazines. We house the audio visual equipment and provide a Professional Library for the staff.
