The Platte City PTA warmly welcomes you, as your child is ready to begin his/her school career. Our PTA serves Rising Star, Siegrist, and Paxton Elementary Schools. The PTA is made up of parents, teachers, school administration, and community members. Our work helps facilitate the educational process by supporting our educators and involving parents in their child’s educational experience. The PTA encourages all parents to join our PTA. Your involvement contributes to the positive experience children have attending our elementary schools.

How are we kept informed about the PTA
A newsletter is sent home with the students each month. Additionally, flyers are sent home a few days prior to most activities. These activities are scheduled after school hours.

How can I participate in the PTA?
By joining one of the many PTA committees or a parent volunteer program. Further, by attending our general membership meetings and board meetings.
