Ms. Roberta Rudolph

Platte County High School
Welcome students and parents to the exciting world of Project Lead the Way. I am eager to share my passion for engineering, mathematics and problem solving with you.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). I was employed as an engineer for six years at Chevrolet Engineering in Warren, Michigan. After staying home for a few years to raise my children, I went back to school. I earned a Masters of Art degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. I taught for two years at Mishawaka High School in Mishawaka, Indiana and at Indiana University-South Bend. I have been teaching at Platte County High School since 1996. Most of this time has been in the Mathematics Department. In the summer of 2009, I became certified to teach Principles of Engineering. In the summer of 2014, I received my Introduction to Engineering certification. In the summer of 2015, I received my Digital Electronics, as well as my Engineering Design and Development certification. I have transitioned to the Practical Arts Department and teach Project Lead The Way courses in the engineering strand. In addition to PLTW Engineering courses, I also have a Geometry class this year.
