What is the purpose of the Career Ladder program?

The Career Ladder program enhances the educational experience of students by recognizing and rewarding productive, effective educators. It aligns with the District’s mission of ensuring students thrive through meaningful experiences led by extraordinary educators.

The goal with the Career Ladder Program is to supplement compensation for work and initiatives we are already funding through stipends or miscellaneous pay. One key benefit of using Career Ladder is the potential for a higher hourly rate, made possible through DESE’s cost-sharing.
