    The Platte City Middle School PTO is a nonprofit, volunteer parent/teacher organization whose membership includes all parents, legal guardians and staff at PCMS.

    The PTO’s mission is to promote open and positive communication and understanding between parents and staff of the PCMS. Our efforts serve to enhance and maximize the education of every child while aiding them in achieving their highest potential.
     
    The PTO provides financial assistance to teachers in their classroom settings, holds fund-raisers for supplemental educational materials and experiences, and supports school and family social interaction.
     
    It is our belief that the team effort of a parent teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children.
     
    We realize your time is valuable. However, parental support is needed for us to continue serving the school and our students. We ask each of you to commit to one hour a year. There are many volunteer opportunities throughout the year; dodge ball tournaments, parent teacher conference dinners, concession stand help, teacher appreciation week and other celebrations.
