Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science Teacher
Platte County High School

I have been a secondary science educator since 2010 after completing my degree at the University of Missouri. I have a passion for PLTW Biomedical Science and Biology. I love teaching my students relevant, real-life medical concepts. It makes me so happy when kids come back from a doctor's appointment and can say they understood what the doctor or nurse walk talking about!
In my spare time, I like to snow ski, golf, travel, and spend time with my family. I frequently fly to Salt Lake City to ski or hike with my dad or to Phoenix to hang out with my friends. I am also a big sports fan! I love going to baseball or football games, but my favorite thing is coaching club volleyball.
