Dr. Devin DollPrincipal
The administration and staff welcome you to Pathfinder Elementary. Pathfinder is a kindergarten through fourth grade school in the highly-accredited Platte County School District. We are focused on continuous improvement within our school system and community. Upon meeting our staff, you will soon realize that Pathfinder's main focus is on helping each child find a positive avenue for educational success. This is my nineteenth year in education. Before making the transition to the Platte County School District, I spent four years teaching second grade and two years teaching third grade in a neighboring school district. In the fall of 2006, I became the assistant principal at Barry School and remained in that position the following year. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Northwest Missouri State University and also earned my master's degree in Elementary Administration from Northwest Missouri State University. My education path then took me to the University of Kansas where I completed my doctorate in Teaching and Leadership. My wife, Jill, and I have two children. Our son, Drew, was born in August of 2006 and our daughter,Macy, was born May of 2009. Drew and Macy continue to add such joy and fun to our lives, and both of our kids are proud Pirates in the Platte County School District. Pathfinder takes pride in being a Leader in Me school and in doing so we work to help each child mature socially and academically. Our teachers do not lose sight of the individual qualities all children possess and find ways to help them develop leadership skills that will create success in future grades. Our teachers help to build on the specific strengths children have already developed and will work to improve on any weaknesses. Our goal is for every child to be successful and to take ownership of his or her education. As mentioned previously, we want all children to take ownership of their education, but we also want parents to share in that ownership of and responsibility for their child's education. In order for a child to be successful in school, a partnership between the parent and school must exist. Pathfinder welcomes you as we work together to build learners of tomorrow.Sincerely,Dr. Devin Doll

Anna BohnAssistant Principal
My name is Anna Bohn, and the 2019-20 school year will be my second year as a part of the Pathfinder family! Prior to being a Pathfinder Pirate, I served as a 3rd Grade Teacher in Topeka and then taught 4th Grade at Siegrist Elementary in the Platte County School District. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas and my master's degree in Administration from William Woods, where I am finishing my Education Specialist in Administration. My husband, Sebastian, and I live in the Northland with our three dogs, Rocky, Stella, and Lily.
I believe the foundation of an effective school is relationships and I am so excited to continue building those relationships with Pathfinder students, staff, and families! I can't wait to meet you!
