Lisa Savala, Assistant Director

I am so excited to be here in the Kansas City area close to my grandchildren.  I enjoy teaching and mentoring students, especially through Career and Technical Education. As the Assistant Director, I build a relationship with students through meeting and mentoring them with attendance, career paths, positive choices, and much more. I am in charge of our Community Education and Missouri Customized Training programs. I graduated from Baker University with a degree in Business Management and then went on to receive my Masters and Specialist in Education from William Woods University. I taught Business and Medical classes at Lebanon Technology & Career Center for nine years before taking this position at Northland Career Center. I believe that Career and Technical Education should be available for all students and that every student has the right to an exceptional education.
