PCR-3 Announces New Administrators

The Board has approved the hiring of the following administrators for the 2022-23 school year.

Emily MillerEmily Miller, current Pathfinder Elementary 4th Grade Teacher, has been named Pathfinder Elementary's Assistant Principal starting with the 2022-23 school year, following Dr. Anna Bohn's move to Principal. She is entering her 4th year at PCR-3 and 9th year in education. Prior to joining Pathfinder, she worked in the St. Joseph School District teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. Emily is from the Kansas City area, receiving her Bachelor's degree from Missouri Western University in Elementary Education, Masters from Arkansas State University in Reading Education, and an Education Specialist degree from Arkansas State University in Leadership. She has been able to hone her leadership skills as a teacher leader at Pathfinder and throughout the district, serving on the ELA curriculum team, phonics team, and as Pathfinder’s 2022 Summer School Principal. Emily was recently recognized for excellence in classroom teaching by the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce. She understands the value of real world learning and offering meaningful experiences to our students, as well as the importance of relationships with students, staff, and families. Emily resides in the Platte County area with her husband Jeff and young son Wesley, is an avid reader, and enjoys the outdoors. Mrs. Miller is honored to be the next Assistant Principal at Pathfinder and can’t wait to work closely with Pathfinder families and staff to create a positive educational experience for all.

 Dr. Anna Bohn will serve as Pathfinder Elementary's next principal. Entering her 7th year at Platte County School District, Anna has served as the Assistant Principal at Pathfinder for the past four years and taught 4th Grade at Siegrist Elementary previously. Prior to becoming a Pirate, Anna taught 3rd Grade in the Auburn-Washburn School District in Topeka, Kansas. Originally from the Kansas City area, Anna earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas and went on to earn her Master's Degree in Administration, Education Specialist in Administration, and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from William Woods University. As the Assistant Principal of Pathfinder Elementary, Anna has spent the last four years building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. She has led a team in developing a systematic approach for early literacy instruction and has worked to cultivate an environment where a love for learning is pervasive amongst students and staff. Outside of education, Anna has recently rejoined the competitive sport of synchronized figure skating and is an avid reader and runner. She lives in the Northland with her husband, Sebastian, and three dogs, Rocky, Stella and Lily. Dr. Bohn is honored to follow in Dr. Doll's footsteps as the Principal of Pathfinder Elementary and is excited to continue to create a positive learning experience for all Pirates!

Jeff Green headshotJeff Green will serve Northland Career's Center's next director. As a graduate of a career and technical program, with a 14-year automotive technician career, followed by 15-year career in education, Jeff is a living example of the opportunities that Northland Career Center provides its students. During his seven years at NCC, Jeff has served in various leadership roles; most recently as NCC’s Assistant Director. Prior to being the Assistant Director, he served as the Student Support and Transition Coordinator and Student Management Coordinator. Jeff leads many aspects of the organization with a focus on growth and development for students and staff. Outside of NCC, Jeff has assumed other leadership roles, including state chair for the SkillUSA contest, former advisory member for the University of Central Missouri’s Career and Technical Education Department, member of various pathway task forces for Northland schools, and currently serves on the Missouri Council of Career and Technical Administrators (MCCTA) conference planning team. Jeff and his wife, Sarah (also an educator), have been married for 24 years, and have two children, both of which attended Northland Career Center. Noelle is graduating from DePaul University in June, and Jaden graduates from high school and NCC next month. Jeff enjoys volunteering at Bartle Scout Camp on weekends and during the summer, spending family time at the lake, watching the Royals play (even in the bad years), and spending time with his family. Mr. Green is excited to lead the outstanding staff at NCC and continue to help Northland students find enrollment, employment, or enlistment!

Devin Doll photoDr. Devin Doll will serve as the new Executive Director of Operations starting with the 2022-23 school year. Dr. Doll is entering his 22nd year in education, and has been with the Platte County School District for 16 years. He started his teaching career as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher in the Park Hill School District, before coming to PCR-3 in 2006 as the assistant principal at Barry School. In 2008, Dr. Doll assisted with the design and construction of Pathfinder Elementary and opened the building as the principal, where he has remained for the past 14 years. Dr. Doll earned his bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education from Northwest Missouri State University, and continued his education by earning his master’s in elementary education. In 2008, Dr. Doll graduated from the University of Kansas with his Doctorate of Education in teaching and leadership. In 2016, Dr. Doll was recognized as MAESP-Clay-Platte District Distinguished Principal of the Year, and was a recipient of the Northland Excellence in Education Service Award in 2020. During his tenure at Pathfinder Elementary, he has focused on sustainable systems of support for both academics and operations, and has helped Pathfinder become a model school for the Leader In Me program, literacy education, and multi-tiered systems of support. Devin’s leadership passion is focusing on continuous improvement and growing leaders within the organization. He desires to build on the strong traditions of our District, by having a proactive approach to our community’s growth while honoring stakeholder feedback. Devin and his wife, Jill, reside in the Platte County community and have two children, Drew, (Freshman at PCHS) and Macy, (7th grader at PCMS). Dr. Doll is excited to build upon the solid foundation that Dr. Harris has created and to work with the District’s operations’ team to continually improve.

Brian Noller photoBrian Noller will serve as Platte County R-3’s Director of Community, School, and Business Partnerships starting with the 2022-23 school year. Mr. Noller will be entering his 26th year in education, serving as the Director of Northland Career Center (NCC) for the past 11 years. Previously, he served as a marketing teacher, summer school director, and assistant director of the Career and Technology Center in the Fort Osage School District; and in his hometown of Clinton, Missouri, he served as a marketing teacher, in-school suspension teacher, and football, baseball, and basketball coach. At NCC, Mr. Noller has led a team accomplishing several milestones including increasing enrollment to an all-time high, students earning credentials and being placed in internships, student organization success, and the introduction of market-value assets. NCC has also been recognized at the local, state, and national level, and was recently chosen as a Pacesetter School for the fourth time. Brian and his wife Anita are Platte County School District residents and have two children, Camden, a 7th grader at Barry School and Delayna, a 4th grader at Pathfinder Elementary. Mr. Noller will bring his passion for creating partnerships that prepare learners for post-secondary success to this position, and is very excited to support all PCR-3 schools while remaining connected to NCC.
