On November 4, 53 high school students and 45 middle school students from PCR-3 auditioned for a spot in the Northwest District #1 of Missouri Music Educators Association All-District Band and Jazz Band and 77 students from PCR-3 were selected. High School students making the Honor Band, alternate to the Honor Band, or the High School Jazz Band are now eligible to audition for All-State on December 2, at Columbia- Hickman High School. These musicians will audition against the top 1,200 students in the state for a spot in the Missouri All-State Band, Orchestra, or Jazz Band, with their performance culminating at the MMEA Workshop/Clinic at Tan-Tar-A in Osage Beach on January 27, 2024.
