  • Inclement Weather/Make Up Day Plan

As of March 15 in the 2018-19 school year, PCR-3 has missed nine days of school due to inclement weather.

In an effort to not push the school year into the month of June, and to not interfere with the summer school schedule, the Board of Education was presented a plan to address our inclement weather and makeup days. Friday, April 19, 2019 which was originally a "no school day," has now been identified as a make-up day for students and staff.

A complete summary of inclement weather days and how we will address the days missed can be found below.

    Inclement weather make-up days:
    • 1st day missed (to be made up on Friday, April 19)
    • 2nd day missed (to be made up on May 23)
    • 3rd day missed (to be made up on May 24)
    • 4th day missed (to be made up on May 28)
    • 5th day missed (to be made up on May 29)
    • 6th day missed (to be made up on May 30)
    • 7th day missed (to be made up on May 31)
    • 8th day missed – forgiven, no make up necessary
    • 9th day missed (can be waived with Board approval as we have an extra day built into our academic calendar)

If we have any additional inclement weather days:
    • 10th day missed – forgiven, no make up necessary
    • 11th day missed (would be made up on June 3)
    • 12th day missed – forgiven, no make up necessary
    • 13th day missed (would be made up on June 4)
    • 14th day missed – forgiven, no make up necessary
