Platte County School District's wellness goal is to promote health and lifelong learning, raise awareness, and create opportunities for employees to continue improving their health, reduce stress, create healthy lifestyles and habits, and set examples for others.

Staff Weight Room Privileges
Staying active and working out is important to living a healthy lifestyle. The Platte County R-3 School District cares about its employees' health and wellness and wants to give you every opportunity to work out. Wellness Classes

5/30 Challenge
Each year, the Challenges start in September and ends in April. Each month, every PCR3 employee can set 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 goals in the areas of nutrition, fitness, self-care, and family.
Here's how to participate:

Print the 5/30 Challenge form.

You can use Bingo cards as a family, nutrition, fitness, and self-care goals.

Write your name and month on the form.

List your goals for that month.

Give your wellness ambassador a copy at the beginning of the month.

During the month you will mark how many days you reached each goal.

At the end of the month, give the completed form to your wellness ambassador (by the 5th day of the following month). Those who meet their goals will be entered into the gift card drawing.
YMCA Membership Information
- The YMCA offers several different types of memberships.
