The Operations Department oversees the management of facilities (maintenance, grounds, custodial services), energy management, food service, safety & security, transportation, and before and after school care. The Operations team also oversees many purchasing efforts of the District including communicating current bid opportunities, maintaining the District's vendor list, and auctioning surplus property. The Facilities & Operations team leads the Long Range Facility Planning process and Capital Improvement planning and implementation. The goals of the Facilities & Operations Strategic Plan are as follows:
- Ensure efficient operating and maintenance systems
- Develop visionary strategic facility planning and maintenance processes
- Refine comprehensive plan for growth management
