PowerSchool Parent and Student Portal
PowerSchool is our student and parent information system. This system will allow parents and students access to important, up-to-date student information. With effective parent communication and involvement, we can help drive student success. Parent Portal allows parents access to class schedules, attendance, homework, grades, and other forms.
Meal payments and fee payments are completed in separate systems.
Parents should receive their initial Parent Portal Access ID and Password (for each student) during registration or by calling your child's school.

Canvas Learning Management System
Platte County R-3’s learning management system in grades
6-12 is Canvas. In Canvas, the “Observer” role is used for parents to allow them to see what is going on in their student’s courses.
Parents/guardians will receive a Canvas Observer code from each of their students. Once a parent has been paired with a student in Canvas, you will not need to be paired again (you’ll remain paired throughout their 6th-12th grades).
